Want to commit suicide?

Answering common suicidal statements

There are common statements that suicidal tend to make. I will answer to them.

"I have no reason to live"

You may believe so but you can always create or find a reason. What is stopping you from creating such a reason? Some people believe in fate. Some people believe everything has a reason. You may not believe the same thing but you should know that you can create a reason. If you haven't found a reason or created one then you can live for the happy moments. Some people say that life is for the journey and not the destination. There are people out there that feels that they don't have a reason to live yet continue living. Why? Because the temporary, short but wonderful moments that life brings would be worth it in the end.

"No one will care when I'm gone"

People will always care when people are dead. It is human nature to care for people especially once they have died because that means they aren't there anymore. I can not guarantee that the people you care for will care when you're gone but I can promise you that someone out there will care. They will care as a human being. They will care as a person who knows that you deserve to live.

"There is no hope for me"

There will always be hope. That is why it is called hope. You can turn this around. You can reach out to people. Reach out to family, friends, teachers. Anything. You always have the capability to recover, I promise you. It may be a rocky and difficult road; the road to recovery. But it will be worth it, wouldn't it? Sure, you may relapse here and there but no one can be completely cured. But there is hope. There is hope for you. First of all, throw away those potentially dangerous items. Talk to someone. Begin your life. Start over. Whatever it takes to not commit suicide - take it. Because you're worth it. You're good enough. There is hope.

"I have no future"

You can have a future. Make one for yourself. If you commit suicide.. you won't be able to see your future. Things do get better. They may not get better immediately or when you want them to get better but it does get better. You will have no future if you take it away by killing yourself. But you can have a future by not committing suicide. "Suicide is a solution to a temporary problem". And who knows? People change. Friends change. Situations change. Things will change and you will be missing that change if you commit suicide.
